south africa is hard working cricket team in the world.they prove them in all formats of cricket.but they don't easily defeat srilanka in thier own soil.after come back of 1992.South africa beat Australia,England,Pakistan,India in their home.But they doesn't beat srilanka in this era.In august 1993 south africa first time tour to srilanka and they win in this series.but after this  2  retrospect they  didn't win against srilanka.. 

                                                 After come back of 1992 world saw totally different south african team who fielded fantastically.who batted very patiently.who bowled with attacking strategy.They  first  time tour to south africa and in colombo sahnali's sports club they win the test match by  innings and 208 runs and win the series by 1-0 but after that series defeat srilanka in thier home becomes a dream for south africa.

                                              After 7 years .In 2000 they 2nd time tour to srilanka and after nail bitting match series level by 1-1 this is last africa-lanka series who level in srilanka  .After that in 2004 and in 2006 .Srilanka defeat africa by 1-0 and 2-0.Means after 1 successive tour of 1993. South africa defeat consecutively in 3 series and win only 1 test match.

                                                With this poor record. south africa fifth time tour to srilanka in hashim amla's captaincy and may be  only few peoples have think that they can beat home side.After beat england in thier own ground srilankan moral was very high and they fully prepare for encounter against africa and they home advantage too.but south african players done a marvellous job.The test match played in galle and with the help of J.P duminy and dean elgar's centuries and dale styen and morne morkal's destrutive bowling they win the test match by big margin.and also they make opputunity to win the series after 21 years in srilankan soil.The risk taking ability of hashim amla was also appear and he doing good job in captaincy. Now 2nd test will be played in sahnalli's sports club which is  mahela jayawardne's home.if south africa win or level the test match they will win the series after 21 years in srilanka against srilanka..And the main good news for south africa is that if they win 2nd test ,So they will again got the top ranking in TEST CRICKET

A low-scoring contest in Guyana boiled down to one of the most remarkable finishes in Twenty20 cricket. Red Steel made two Big errors in the field in the last  over of the chase, allowing Guyana Amazon Warriors' last wicket to draw the game, after which Sunil Narine took the spotlight. Defending 11 in the Super Over, the Warriors' spinner delivered a wicket maiden to secure his team's second successive win of the 2014 CPL.

Narine was up against Red Steel's wicketkeeper Nicolas Pooran, who had hit the spinner for 11 runs off four balls during the chase. In the Super Over, however, Pooran could not get bat on ball for the first four deliveries, before holing out at long-off. Warriors had already all but won the game, and Narine beat New Zealand's Ross Taylor with the final ball to complete his maiden over.

Red Steel should have never let the match enter the Super Over phase. Like Narine later, Dwayne Bravo also had 11 to defend, and Warriors had only two wickets in hand. He conceded two off the first ball, none off the second, and Krishmar Santokie was run out attempting a second run off the third. That left Bravo with eight to defend off the last three balls, and he could do little about the shambles that followed.

Ronsford Beaton cut the fourth ball to point, where Fidel Edwards misses the ball to allow a boundary. He slogged at the fifth and scampered a double after the ball fell in no-man's land. Narine and Beaton took two wickets each, and Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez claimed 1 for 11 in his four-over spell.

Chasing 119, Lendl Simmons was firm at one end but Warriors lost many wickets at the other to slip to 43 for 5, with Samuel Badree taking three wickets. When Simmons fell with the score on 56 for 6, Red Steel were firmly on top. Christopher Barnwell, however, found a steady partner in Narine, whose first act in thwarting Red Steel was contributing 16 to a partnership of 44. When they fell in quick succession, though, the game seemed up, until those errors in the field allowed Warriors to level the match

              Anderson charged in Lack of dicipline

England fast bowler James Anderson has been charged under Level 3 of the ICC Code of Conduct for allegedly "pushing and abusing  Ravindra Jadeja"  on  first  Test at Trent Bridge.

Anderson gain a ban of  two Tests if he is found invvolved  as the minimum sanction for a Level 3 violation is four suspension points and two equates to missing one Test. He now faces a hearing which, according to the ICC code, needs to take place within 14 days.

The complaint was not sent  by the umpires but by the India team manager, Sunil Dev, who told  he lodged the complaint only after confirming the incident with India captain MS Dhoni, other players and coach Duncan Fletcher. Players from both teams could be called to give evidence at the hearing.

"Mahindra singh dhoni  and everyone complained that he [Anderson] physically touched him [Jadeja] and pushed him. It was all over the dressing room," sunil Dev said. "It is serious matter only because you can't push anybody. So I put in a complaint with the match referee."
